Vintage history

A seductive, elegant vintage, 2019 reveals beautiful black fruit aromas that assert themselves with aeration. This wine has excellent ageing potential and offers renewed pleasure with every bottle opening. On the palate, it has a supple texture, characteristic of organic wines, and good length.

Enjoyable from the first sip, it continues to develop its complexity and liveliness – even if you finish the bottle the next day!

Perfumed, transparent and delicate. Extraordinarily silky, diaphanous tannins for a bordeaux, let alone for such a young wine. [… ] It’s fine boned, moving with an almost weightless silence; a glide of sous-bois-bitter red-berry fruit, wild strawberries, soft breath of fresh cigar and a truffle lifted from under autumn leaves and a dark forest loam. Exquisitely fresh, understated, and I find myself coming back, again and again, to the word graceful.

Juicy and delicious on the palate, where the perfectly integrated tannins create a convincing harmony with the acid structure. A wine that combines temperament and sapidity.

Vins & terroirs Authentiques

Attractive ruby colour with brilliant carmine tints. Fruit and spice come together beautifully in this expressive, straightforward bouquet. The complementary aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and cherry are enveloped in fine toasty notes. With a lovely fruity structure, respected by the ageing, this straightforward, tightly grained wine is solidly constructed, though not excessively so. Its tannins still have time to develop a certain patina. The fruit (blackcurrant, wild blackberry, periwinkle) expresses itself generously on the mid-palate. The finish is invigorating, long and finely roasted.
