A family story
In 2001, the legacy of Château Franc-Cardinal changed hands when Sophie and Philip embarked on a transformative journey.
Their vision: to make natural, refined wines that reflect the delicate nuances of the terroir. Tragedy struck with Philip’s untimely death, but Sophie courageously defended their shared philosophy, nurturing the estate with unwavering dedication.
Today
Today, the vineyard remains a family business. The youngest, Benjamin, has taken a keen interest in the winemaking process, and has now become a young cellar master. At his side are Amélie and Sophie, the latter steering the ship with a velvet hand. It is with pride and passion that we continue this proud heritage, producing wines that embody delicacy, suppleness and a touch of finesse… organic, of course!
